Steeler Blog IV

Overall

That was a game. The Steelers played a good game this is exactly what I expected to happen in this game. The defense played very well and the offense proved they can play well without AB. I think that it is okay that Harrison went to the Patriots, put yourself in his shoes, getting cut is like getting fired, it is like getting fired by your company. After getting fired, you would go and find a new job, that is exactly what Harrison did. I can’t blame him, that is exactly what I would do. About benching starters, I would do it, Bryce Petty vs. the Patriots. It isn’t going to happen, just rest your starters. How would you feel if Big Ben or Le’veon Bell got injured.

Injuries

Big Ben was limited in practice and it was not injury related. And Antonio Brown did not practice because of his calf.

Steelers Blog III

Overall

The Steelers for sure played the better game than the Patriots. I know people are wondering if I think it was a catch and I think it is. The ball never actually hit the ground. The Steelers should have won,  but there is somebody at fault. I was listening to a podcast yesterday and they listened to the inside the NFL edition and heard that Mike Tomlin said “If he is tackled we got to play through it…” he said to Todd Haley. So I think that last play was partially Haley’s fault and partially Ben Roethlisberger’s fault. It is Haley’s fault for not calling a play on third down and Big Ben’s fault for throwing that ball. During the four minute review, Haley should have play “X” and play “Y”. So I have no clue what he is doing during those FOUR MINUTES!!! So even if he dropped it they should have won.

Injuries

The news on Vance McDonald looks not too good. Joe Haden is looking like he will play. Sadly, James Conner has been placed on the IR and a new running back has been signed. Antonio Brown also has a slightly torn calf muscle, but he will be back for the playoffs. And for those of you who don’t know Ryan Shazier was in a suite at the game.

My Week 16 Predictions

Steelers Blog II

Hello I am thegoat2683, I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I am now going to blog about the Steelers and the NFL.

Overall

Our defense needs to play a lot better, they can’t be surrendering 38 points to Joe Flacco and 250 rushing yards. Our inside linebackers just looked so slow, and need to pick up the slack. However, the offense was amazing with AB having 11 rec. for 213 yds. And Le’veon Bell having 16 att. for 48 yds. and 3 TD. Finally, Big Ben had a phenomenal night going 44/66 with 502 yds. and 2 TD. The secondary could also use some work, but that should change with Joe Haden making his return in week 16. Overall the defense has a lot tobe desired and the offense had some flares, but they need to stop going cold in the middle of the game.

Injures

Shazier is not returning this season. The little info about him is looking better, I heard he had spinal cord stabilization surgery about five days ago and now is starting rehabing. Vance McDonald and Coty Sensabagh are out of practice with shoulder injures. Joe Haden should be back for week 16 at the Houston Texans. So the injury report seems to be looking up in the Steelers favor.

My predictions for week 15

Colts 27 Broncos 24

Lions 31 Bears 10

Chargers 34 Chiefs 31

Bills 24 Dolphins 13

Ravens 31 Browns 21

Steeler Blog

Hello I am thegoat2683, I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I am now going to blog about the Steelers and the NFL.

Overall

The Steelers really need to play better. If they want to go far in the playoffs, if they want to beat the Patriots, and make it to the Super Bowl and even win the Super Bowl, then they can’t keep getting in these huge deficits. Last Monday, Big Ben did okay throwing 2 TD, 1 INT, and 290 YDS. Le’veon Bell had a okay night with 18 ATT, 76 YDS, and 1 TD. Antonio Brown had a great night for someone on a hurt foot with 8 REC, 101 YDS, and 1 TD. The defense was getting beat in the first half, but the second half was much, much, much better. Overall the Steelers need to play better.

Injures

I am not going to tip-toe around the elephant here and get this out of the way. Ryan Shazier. Although the data is scarce, I was able to pick out data, he underwent stabilization surgery recently. It is looking like he has a spinal cord contusion and he might be able to return to the playoffs. Joe Haden is out, Ryan Shazier is out, and Juju Smith-Schuster is suspension. Antonio Brown, T.J. Watt, Vance Mcdonald, and Tyler Matakevich are all questionable.

My Vacation

I have not posted a blog in ten days, but I have a good excuse. I have been in Lake Tahoe, Nevada for eight days and we didn’t bring our computer with us, so I couldn’t blog. Now I am here today to talk about my vacation.

7/21/17- Today was was very boring we were driving for about five hours and we sat in the car all day and watched movies. When we got to the place me, my brother, and my sister played a game of hide and seek. We also found our rooms and put our belongings in there too.

7/22/17-Today we went to the lake, and played in it. We inflated our floaties. Then we relaxed on the beach them. It was hard to get there because we had to walk half a mile with all of our stuff because it was all parked up.

7/23/17-Today we went on a eight mile bike ride. We biked along a trail to this historical house, it was there for 144 years! Then we went to a creek and saw a lot of trout. Next we biked back home.

7/24/17-On this day we went on a three-mile hike. It was super cool! We saw some amazing views of the lake and the mountains. Later that day we went to the pool. My Dad like to pick me up and then throw me in. It feels amazing

7/25/17-Today we went to the beach I was in the water for an extremely long time. I mostly played tag with my brothers and sister. Then we went down to the pool again. This time in the pool I mostly sat in the hot tub.

7/26/17- On this day we went on a twelve mile bike ride. Then we went to this delicious pizza place called blue dog pizza. They had the best pizza ever! Then we went to the pool AGAIN!

7/27/17- This was our final day in Tahoe. So we went back to the lake and had a ton of fun. My Mom, my Sister, and my Brother all went kacking. Then we went to the pool one last time.

7/28/17- I drove home with my dad. We didn’t do much we just talked and listened to music.

That wraps up my blog for today. If you’re new to my blogs I post a blog every weekday and make sure to like, follow, and have an awesome day! Bye!

A series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning

The Bouldilares are a happy couple with their children Violet, Klaus and Sunny. The children of the wealthy and smart parents go to the beach on a cold foggy day, not to play or swim like normal people do, but to test their inventions. They all must work together, 14-year-old Violet is the inventor, Klaus enjoys reading books. and Sunny likes to bite everything, even rocks. When they come back from the beach they find out that their house has been burnt down and that their parents are dead. They must be taken care of by Count Olaf, but their is something about Olaf, he is evil and is trying to steal the Boudelare fortune. Will the three children succeed or will they die? Read the book to find out.

I really liked this book because there were so many good twists and turns and loops. This is one of Lemony Snicket’s best books. That wraps up things for today, make sure to like, follow, and have an awesome day! Addio!

Summer Reading Prompts for Kids Kindergarten-High School

I recently found a website called edutopia.com that has lots of reading prompts for summer. These are some of the ones I’ve tried.

Day 1:
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hires you as a consultant to determine how best to use $20 billion to save the world. What’s your plan?
If The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hired me as a consultant and gave me 20 billion dollars to improve the world in a fashion of my own choice, I would split it in half. One half would be devoted to improving the environment, and the other to improve the education in our public schools. In many places across America, there are suffering school systems. The current presidential administration is really not helping at all, so the responsibility falls on the public’s shoulders. Some of us can help, but don’t (most of the time those people’s children are in private schools, anyway, so they think that by doing that, the problem does not apply to them. but it does.), can help and do so, and then there is the most widespread category, just not being able to contribute. So, my plan is to use 10 billion dollars to improve the poorest school systems in the country, because everyone is a genius and deserves a fighting chance. There are more reasons why this would be a good idea, one of which it lowers the rate of poverty in America.
The other 10 billion dollars would be devoted to the environment, because nothing can live without that. It would be put towards new foundations, protection for wildlife, and new jobs for rangers and scouts. We could also put some aside for the enjoyment of humanity, like camping grounds, hiking trails, etc.
Day 2
You can save one object before your house burns down. What is it? What makes that object important to you?
If my house was burning down and I could save one thing, it would be my house. I would save my house because that would be like one neat package of all things that I find valuable. Another reason why I would save my house is because of all the memories I’ve made there, which are far more important than any material thing. Also, I hope that my house won’t catch on fire!
Thanks!
L.D.

How to Be Fit

Since it is the off-season for my baseball and basketball I work out a lot because I have nothing to do. Being fit has many steps I will take how I worked out yesterday as an example. My first part of the day does not start with some thing having to do with fitness it starts with my head. At 6:00 A.M. I read until 6:30, then I blog until 7:30. Then I go to swim practice from 8:00 to 9:00. When I get home I eat breakfast. Then I go on a three mile run. Then I come home and relax for about half an hour and then I go on a bike ride, yesterday I went to 7-eleven because it was free slushy day at 7-eleven and that was a total 2 miles. It doesn’t stop there though, sure I was done working out, but you still have to eat right and get 10-12 hours of sleep a day.

That concludes my post for today, make sure to like, follow, and check out my last post! A hoi hou!
